PortuguêsAbstract
Leproid granuloma is a skin disease caused by mycobacteria, which form nodular and ulcerative lesions, apparently occurring more frequently than it is diagnosed and reported. The animals possibly most affected are those raised outside the home environment (in backyards). Treatment is relatively simple and involves systemic and topical antibiotic therapy. The present work aims to demonstrate a case diagnosed and treated for the referred disease.
