The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of different authoring environments about the economic and productive performance of piglets in the nursery. The experiment was conducted in a commercial farm located in the city of DoisVizinhos-PR. 240 crossed piglets were used, with average weight of 6 kg, 21 days of age, distributed in a completely randomized design with two treatments: T1 Nursery with suspended cages and T2 Nursery with partially free and suspended stalls and with concrete floor parts, with 4 replicates and 30 animals each. The measurement of temperature (maximum, minimum and average) and the relative humidity of authoring environments, was performed twice a day (morning and afternoon) through a device called thermohigrometer, who was at the time of the animals in nurseries. The parameters of performance were weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion. While the cost of feed per kg of produced pig was calculated as follows: price per kilogram of feed multiplied by feed conversion. Performance data were submitted to analysis of variance, the difference between the average verified by test F. The values of temperature and humidity during the research, showed no variation between treatments, maintaining similar values during the evaluation period. Also there was no effect (P> 0.05) of treatments on performance parameters. However, treatment 1 had the lowest cost of feed per kg of produced pig. Depending on the economic results, it is recommended to use cages suspended in the nursery phase.
