The objective of the present work was to cultivate the bromeliad Neoregelia “Fireball” in different light intensities to verify the acclimatization capacity and the influence of the environment on the morphoagronomic characteristics of the species. The experiment was conducted for five months in 2019 at the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, in treatments 0, 30, 50, 70 and 80% shading. It was possible to observe that, despite being cultivated in different environments, the plants showed no statistical difference in the analyzed parameters, in addition these bromeliads showed an incredible behavior of plant plasticity, acclimating to the environments, surviving and reproducing, allowing the guarantee of productivity in case of use of these treatments in a commercial enterprise.
