The paper examines the role of the teacher as a key motivational factor in the teaching of informatics and computer science. Teachers have a significant influence on students' motivation, which directly affects their success and interest in the subject. Through the analysis of different methods and approaches used by teachers, strategies that encourage active learning and student engagement will be identified
