HIV/AIDS, marginalização e expectativa de vida da população transsexual: revisão integrativa

Esta revisão integrativa destacou o impacto do HIV/AIDS na expectativa de vida e marginalização das pessoas trans. A busca ocorreu nas bases LILACS e MEDLINE entre abril e dezembro de 2025, seguindo o protocolo PRISMA. Foram incluídos estudos de 2020 a 2025, em português, inglês e espanhol, que abordassem HIV/AIDS, discriminação, expectativa de vida e acesso à saúde em pessoas trans. Os achados revelam vulnerabilidades resultantes de fatores estruturais, sociais, psicológicos e programáticos. A discriminação de gênero reduziu o acesso a consultas médicas e testagem para HIV. Mulheres trans apresentam até 34 vezes mais risco de infecção que a população geral. Estigma, desigualdades socioeconômicas e falhas nos serviços comprometem adesão ao tratamento. Problemas de saúde mental, como depressão, ideação suicida e uso de substâncias, ampliam a vulnerabilidade. A exposição precoce em adolescentes reforça a necessidade de estratégias específicas de prevenção. Intervenções digitais mostraram potencial para ampliar testagem e prevenção. Observou-se que o HIV/AIDS é também reflexo das desigualdades estruturais que atravessam as vidas trans. Reduzir a mortalidade exige políticas inclusivas, prevenção combinada, suporte em saúde mental e reconhecimento da pauta como prioridade ética e política.
