Renal nephroblastoma is a rare tumor in dogs, originating from remnants of metanephric blastema, most commonly diagnosed in young large breed dogs. Due to the frequency of metastases, early diagnosis and treatment are essential. The objective of this study was to describe a clinical case of renal nephroblastoma in a 2-year-old mixed-breed dog, contributing to the literature on this rare neoplasm. The patient presented with dyspnea, anorexia, discomfort, and abdominal distension. Ultrasonography revealed a moderate amount of free fluid in the abdominal cavity and a mass associated with the left kidney. Unilateral nephrectomy and OSH were performed, with the mass sent for histopathology, which confirmed the diagnosis of nephroblastoma with metastasis in a lymph node adjacent to the tumor.
