Nefroblastoma renal em cadela SRD submetida à nefrectomia unilateral: relato de caso

O nefroblastoma renal é um tumor raro em cães, originado de restos de blastema metanéfrico, mais comumente diagnosticado em animais jovens de raças grandes. Devido à frequência de metástases, o diagnóstico e tratamento precoces são fundamentais. O objetivo deste trabalho foi descrever um caso clínico de nefroblastoma renal em cadela SRD de 2 anos, contribuindo para a literatura sobre essa neoplasia rara. A paciente apresentava dispneia, anorexia, desconforto e aumento abdominal. A ultrassonografia evidenciou moderada quantidade de líquido livre na cavidade abdominal e aumento de volume associado ao rim esquerdo. Foi realizada nefrectomia unilateral e OSH, com envio da estrutura para histopatologia, que confirmou o diagnóstico de nefroblastoma com metástase em linfonodo adjacente ao tumor.
